Course content
The course presents the essentials of contrastive linguistics and concentrates on the selected topics of Czech grammar in comparison to other languages (based on students´ choice). Attention will be paid to general and special applications of contrastive grammar in everyday communication.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
