St. Paul, apostles, apocalypse, apocrypha, 3. antique heresy, church fathers, old church council to the 9. cent., 4. profession of faith, dogmatic system, big schism of Church, crusades, 5. confrontation with Judaism and Islam, Byzantine Church, old easter Church, eastern spirituality; 6. papacy and church hierarchy from 11. to 14. cent., medieval western Church: Romance and Gothic Church, notional mysticism, devocio modern spirit, medieval heresy, religious motion, st. Tom Aquinus, inquisition, 7. friary, knight order, begging order, institution in Church at our place and abroad; 8. western Church schism, master Jan Hus, Hussite motion, Czech Reformation, German Reformation, evangelic Church at our place and abroad, English Reformation, Henry VIII.; 9. Spanish mysticism, Jesuits, oversea mission, re-catholicization in Czech lands, baroque ideals; 10. This course, History of Christianity, familiarizes the students with western and eastern Christianity, its history and questions till contemporary religious societies related to Christianity. History is lectured chronologically from the first Christian century to introduction of contemporary spectrum of denominations, Christian sects and societies, which are based on Christianity.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course. |
