Course content
1. Evolutionary foundations of ethics, psychology of moral development. 2. Altruism, aggression and morality. 3. The values and moral norms and law. 4. Moral choice, responsibility and conscience. 5. Dignity, tolerance, justice. 6. Environmental Ethics. Practically oriented chapters: 1. Value systems, cultural and generational differences. 2. The problem of social justice; poverty, charity, solidarity. 3. Ethics and Politics. Civic engagement. 4. Ethics and school. Bullying children on the edge, camaraderie. 5. Ethics and sport. Idols, doping, the principle of fair play. 6. Ethics in the Internet environment. Cyberbullying, publishing ethics, ethics debate. 7. Dignity and virtue. Literary and film characters as models of behavior.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course explains foundations of ethics and explicates the meaning of ethics for social reflexion.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
