Course content
1. Basic questions of epistemology 2. Subject-object relation problem I 3. Subject-object relation problem II 4. Rationalism and its critique 5. Empiricism and its critique 6. Limits of human knowledge 7. General limits of knowledge 8. Theory of representation 9. Theory of perception and sensory presentations and representations 10. Higher cognitive (symbolic) processes - concepts, natural language, artificial languages 11. Theory of truth 12. Theory of knowledge (as justified true belief) 13. Naturalized epistemology 14. Summary

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 40 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide analytical presentation of main themes, methods and conception of noetics, throughout the history of this science from Antiquity to the recent philosophy.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
