Learning outcomes
The subject deals with development of the Eastern and Western civilisation in 20th century with special focus on Czechoslovakian society. The national changes and international connections will be mentioned. The students will be acquainted with the functioning of the international policy, political system, economic, social and cultural circumstances and international policy. The seminars will be focussed on the main problems of the whole period as it is understood by various historical literature; it also introduce a number of sources of the Czech and foreign origin. The emphasis will be on the disputable appreciation of this topic.
