Course content
1. Importance of social communication, definition, terms. 2. Communicative axioms, communicative scheme. 3. Emotional competence. 4. Nonverbal communication; the first impression, self-presentation. 5. Nonverbal communication; interpretation of others. 6. Verbal communication, listening, dialog. 7. Barriers in communication. 8. Assertivity; principles, rights. 9. Assertivity; techniques. 10. Negotiation. 11. Typology of communication. 12. Public speaking. 13. Mass- communication. 14. Summary.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Implications of social communication. Modes of communication. Non-verbal communication.Verbal communication: dialog, address. Misunderstanding reasons. Communication at school: mass communication.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course.
