Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the presentation of the main currents of contemporary thinking from philosophical concepts, through the social sciences to the political ideologies that have influenced and still influence modern societies. Emphasis will be placed on their presentation in a broader historical and socio-cultural context, as well as on the specific consequences that are associated with given thought systems.
