Course content |
The lecture deals with the history of interpretations and current scientific approaches to text that could form the basis of a heuristic interpretation. 1. Establishment of the phenomenon interpretation: secularization of mythology of ancient Greece 2. Christian theology under the influence of an ancient tradition of performance 3. Reformation and turn to the text itself 4. German enlightened interpretation 5. German romantic interpretation 6. Historical and psychological interpretation of the nineteenth century 7. Literary hermeneutics of the twentieth century 8. Interpretation of mythological texts (G. Dumézil and C. Levi-Strauss) 9. Origin and structure of the literary field (P. Bourdieu) 10. Structural semantics and theory of actants (A. J. Greimas) 11. Interpretation of deep symbols (psychoanalytic criticism) 12. Epic universal: affect, dream and reality (M. Exner) 13. Reserve

Learning outcomes |
The starting point is the history of theories of interpretation, leading to the current state of the field. In the second part of the lectures, the student will be introduced to the methods of thematic explanation of the text, which allow him to interpret it in a meaningful perspective.
The students will acknowledge themselves with the informations acording to the goal and the matter of the course. |
