Course content
1. Atoms and molekules, matter structure, crystals and their properties. 2. Phenomena on surfaces and interfaces. 3. Mechanical waves in solids, sound, ultrasound. 4. Fluids, pressure in fluids and gasses. 5. Phases of matter and their transformations. 6. Shape memory. 7. Electricity, electrostatic induction. 8. Piezoelectricity. 9. Pyroelectricity and ferroelectricity. 10. Electromagetic induction. 11. Magnetism in matter, permanent magnets, 12. Electromagnetic radiation. 13. Light and its properties. 14. Final remarks and public debate.

Present and explain physics from everyday life.
Attendants should understand physics in everyday life.
Prerequisites
Phundamentals of physics.

Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Presentation of physics phenomena from everyday life. Distant education - Tutorials are on-line in Google Meet using elearning.fp.tul.cz.
