Course content
Introduction, geometrical interpretation of Lorentz transformation, Minkowski space-time, relativistic kinematics and dynamics, basics of relativistic electrodynamics, relativistic optics, special relativity theory in quantum and nuclear physics, general relativity theory physical principles.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

Learning outcomes
History and experimental foundations of Special Relativity Theory. Lorentz Transformation and some consequencies. Two-dimensional spacetime. Minkowski spacetime, light cone, causality. Relativistic kinematics and dynamics. Principles of relativistic electrodynamics. Relativistic optics. Special Relativity in quantum and nuclear physics. Physical principles of general relativity.
The basic principles of speciel relativity and the relativistic mechanics, electromanetism, optics and nuclear physics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination, Student's performance analysis, Didactic test

Requirements for credit are activity on practising and successful passing tests. Requirement for exam is right answering entered questions.
