Course content
1. Introductory concepts 2. Direct current circuits 3. Electrical field 4. Magnetic field 5. Alternating current circuits 6. Transient phenomena in electrical circuits 7. Electrical measurements 8. Electrical machines 9. Basic components in electronics 10. Analogue electronic circuits 11. Digital electronic circuits 12. Communications 13. Electrical transducers 14. Safety rules in electrotechnics

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
Students will be introduced to basics of electrotechnics so that they understand electrical machines and electronic instruments, perform measurements with electrical instruments and design simple experiments from electrotechnics. They also will be introduced to safety rules of work with electrical equipments.


Assessment methods and criteria
The examination is in written form, knowledge of examples and of lectured topics is required
