Course content
Lectures: 1. Informatics and digital literacy in FEP BE 2. Development of digital literacy as key competence and interdisciplinarity 3. Specifics of computer science teaching 4. Digital technologies in society 5. Information around us 6. Algorithms in everyday life 7. Planning and creating of school curriculum Exercises: 1. Communication and searching 2. Editing of picture and its coding 3. Creation, editing, coding and encryption of texts 4. Representation of phenomenons and situations 5. Working with data 6. Children's programming 7. Bebras ----- Range of attendance teaching for part-time form: 8 hours/semester

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 22 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Introduce the concept and possibilities of the development of digital literacy and computational thinking in the primary school; try out exemplary inspirational activities; prepare and evaluate their own learning activity.
She/He transforms the content of the IT curriculum into practical activities for primary school pupils. She/He develops their digital literacy and computer thinking.
