Course content
1. Didactics of informatics as a scientific field 2. Teaching methods and forms in informatics 3. Conceptual apparatus in informatics, textbook of informatics 4. Assessment and classification in informatics, student portfolio 5. Technical, economic and legal context 6. Informatics and digital literacy in FEP BE 7. Development of digital literacy as key competences and interdisciplinary topic 8. Informatics around us 9. Basic work with digital technologies and security 10. Computers in the network 11. Information retrieval 12. Editing pictures and photos 13. Creation and editing of texts 14. Working with data in tables 15. Information systems 16. Communication and data sharing 17. Data presentation 18. Coding of information 19. Creation of iconic models 20. Model conversions 21. Petri nets in the school environment 22. Algorithmization in everyday life 23. Algorithmic problems without a computer 24. Children's programming 25. Testing in informatics 26. Bebras 27. Planning and creating a school curriculum 28. Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Group consultation, Demonstration of student skills

  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 44 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
To introduce students to the specifics of informatics teaching and learning, to the application of pedagogical procedures in computer science lessons, to the curriculum transformation, to the RVP content, and ŠVP examples.
The student has a theoretical knowledge of possible processes and methods in informatics teaching; is capable of preparation of activities concerning different subject matter theme units; is capable of setting up a lesson plan; is aware of connections of teaching practice and spheres of law, finance, and engineering.
Prerequisites
successfully completed courses of the Pedagogical and psychological module - 1st and 2nd year

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination, Student's performance analysis, Oral presentation of self-study

Credit: written lesson plan for one lesson, presentation of a 20 minute activity, active participation in seminars Exam: discourse over a syllabus topic and a lesson plan
