Course content
Seminars: 1. Construction of Lego Mindstorm mobile robot and its revival 2. Movement of the robot on the surface, audiovisual output 3. Use of ultrasonic and color sensors 4.-6. Intelligent movement of robot in space 7.-8. Programming of game using the kit 9. Construction of more complex robot 10. Connection of Arduino LED diode and buzzer 11. Animation using Arduino 12.-13. Selected tasks from the methodology 14. Creation of a methodological sheet ----- Range of attendance teaching for part-time form: 8 hours/semester

Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Demonstration
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 22 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Try working with selected robotic toys on practical tasks. Mutually inspire each other with concrete learning activities.
She/He develops technical skill, construction according to instructions and, above all, programming skills for lower-secondary school pupils by the robotic kits. She/He knows the (dis)advantages of it. She/He can prepare activities with programmable hardware for inquisitive or high school pupils.
Prerequisites
- experience with robotic toys (see KAP/ROB1)

Practical demonstration of acquired skills
