Learning outcomes
The course introduces the basic idea, genesis and current state of European integration. Its aim is to present the formation, functions and specifics of the current European Union. The final synthetic summary is supplemented by the most important current issues of European integration and their trends. Special attention will be paid to the nature of the Czech Republic's membership in the group, especially in the context of the current European crisis, and structural policy as a source of funding for regional development projects.
