Learning outcomes
The aim of the lecture is to link the themes and problems of physical geography from the regional point of view. Core concepts, features, processes and development trends in physical geography are discussed. Specific examples and case studies illustrate the joint causalities and relations within the different components of the natural environment and between them. Selected natural processes and actual risks are demonstrated in terms of their impact on society and with regard to the possibilities of their elimination.
