Topics of lectures 1. Introduction to the issue of conducting geographical teaching and learning, and geographical curriculum. 2. Geographic curriculum abroad (USA, England, Germany, France, Finland, Poland). 3. Geographical curriculum in the Czech Republic until 1989. 4. Current geographical curriculum in the Czech Republic. 5. Geographical thinking in geographical education. 6. Geographical topics in geographical education: location, place, connection of places, movement, region. 7. Taxonomy in geographical education (Revised Bloom, Marzano & Kendall, SOLO). 8. Spiral curriculum in the development of the individual in geographical education on selected topics. 9. Minimum - optimal - excellent levels in geographical education (content, thinking). 10. Local region and place in geographical education. 11. Geographic textbooks and analysis of their content. 12. Maps and spatial data in geographical education. 13. Tests in geographical education. 14. New trends in geographical education.
