Course content
1. Introduction into project based learning 2. Thesis of geographical education 3. Open source (Sankoré) and spatiality 4. Examples of geographical themes (tectonic desks, demographic transition) 5. Geostandards 6. Geostandards and Assessments 7. Place a local region in Czech school geography 8. Didactic geography games, esteeem 9. Transfer from a scientific field to a school theme 10 Gersmehl - thinking geographically (location, space, time-space)

  • Class attendance - 70 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is focused on activities of students and it rings them into school geographical education and knowing pupils competencies. Example US "Geography for Life. Students prepare and present their preparations for pupils, for classroom activities, for field-trips. They will prepare their simple geographical project with integrated character. They learn assessments.
Teaching and learning of geography at primary school
Prerequisites
Basic geographical knowledge of comprehensive school and basic knowledge of physiography and human geography

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities

Students are able to propare and manage educational projects (Liberec place).
