Course content
The makes possible cultural immersion through field trips. The course explains the whole Visegrád Group, with particular focus on the Czech Republic, from the interdisciplinary point of view, where students will gain a deeper understanding of the key topics of Central European conetxts from the geographical perspective. The knowledge will be framed in the context of current European crisis. This mix should help the students to obtain an interdisciplinary perspective of Visegrád countries society and cultures 1.History of Visegrád countries and mutual conflicts - outline 2.Physical geography of V4 countries 3.Political organisation of V4 countries 4.Role of V4 countries in Europe and their positian in a current EU crisis 5.Religious geography of the V4 countries 6.3-days excursion/field trip to Budapest, Visegrád and Bratislava 7.Half-day excursion to Poland

Learning outcomes
The goal of the program is to provide the students with an intensive interdisciplinary insight into Central European regional geography. Particular goal of the programme is to make them familiar with post-communist countries, which create Visegrád Group - Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
