Course content
|
1. Topic selection by analysing scientific articles devoted to reforms and innovations in education in elementary school and confronts the topic with the knowledge and potential of geography throughout elementary education. Offer solutions to various problems (eg. Spatial citizenships, the problems of the local landscape and the development of communities, the use of geographic aspects and tools for solving problems of citizens, regions and states, global, regional and local aspects of the problems, the communication of information needed for solving problems using maps or a GIS ) applying methods of cartography, biogeography, border studies and similar. 2. Identification and definition of stakeholders, adapting innovations to specific target groups and the use of teaching experience to find a partner from practice with an emphasis on international partnerships. The course aim is to develop a project for a particular project calls (e.g. V4, Interreg, Erasmus, SGS and similar). It includes preparation of the necessary documentation for the project, focusing to the activities of the project, stage of project, budget, target groups, monitoring indicators and other requirements of the call.

Learning outcomes
|
To handle, under the guidance of tutor, a project documentation for a particular project call with the topic focusing on innovation in geographic education or elementary school education using the experience and knowledge with the teaching of geography in our country and abroad.
Obtain experience of the entire cycle of project application beginning with the innovative idea, analysing the current situation, identifying objectives (at different levels: intention, realizable goals, solution phase, expected outcomes and results), identifying targets and interested persons and organizations to submit a project and its implementation in the case obtaining resources or correction in case of refusal.

Interview, Oral presentation of self-study
The analysis of topics realized in the Bachelor's degree from the viewpoint of their innovation potential for geographic education and in view of their potential for various projects like SVUČ, SGS, Interreg Erasmus, OP VVV, Start Up, V4 and similar.
