The aim of the course is to gain knowledge about the basic geological units in the Czech Republic, the influence of individual orogenesis on the development of the Bohemian Massif, the development of the Bohemian Massif. Exercises are focused on working with geological maps, especially 1:50 000, on practicing basic geological phenomena (tectonics, orography, paleontology) and on field mapping.
