Course content
Creation and use of geographic names and technical terms in English, German (Germany, respectively. German-speaking countries) and Polish (Poland), or in other languages and other countries of the European Area (the EU). Most all of the geographic names and dates, and their correct / suitable equivalents in English, German, Polish, or in other languages (countries). Abbreviations and acronyms commonly used in professional geographical texts. Keywords and abstracts in foreign languages. Reading and interpretation of texts in foreign languages. Reading Comprehension and legends on maps and atlases. Working with specialized texts and their correct / appropriate translations. Min / basic professional stint geographic terms and rules for their proper use.

Learning outcomes
Creating a using of geographical terms in English or German, their correct using. Students learn geographical notions in original scientific texts and present them. They understand English or German geographical texts and maps.
