The course has three stages, and also includes an element of joint field work with colleagues from the German and Polish parts of the Euroregion. In the preparatory phase of a one-day Czech-German-Polish workshop, students with guarantors will select the topic of field teaching and develop project proposals, which will include work with resources and literature and find institutions that can potentially address the topic. Students will also be divided into mixed teams, which will jointly design methods and the course of joint work. The second stage is the implementation phase of field teaching, which has an organizational and professional component, and is implemented by students themselves under the supervision of a professional and organizational guarantor in selected localities and institutions within the Czech-German-Polish Three-land. The third stage is a report on the course and results of field teaching and evaluation of students' work. The department ensures the role of organizational and professional guarantor. During the course, combined field methods will also be interspersed with laboratory activities, such as methods of researching the environmental burden of the landscape, mapping the potential for development and sustainability of the landscape on mobile phones or tablets, practical tasks of land use planning and regional development.
