Students will develop an independent work on the topic in seminars, which will focus on expanding selected areas of knowledge of the geography of both countries. In addition to the historical overview (with emphasis on developments after 1918), the main part of the work will focus on human-geographical and political characteristics, including regionalization of the territory with emphasis on the neighboring Lower Silesian Voivodeship and the Free State of Saxony. Presentation and critical evaluation of seminar work by other students and discussion of the most important current issues of both countries and their trends will be the main focus of the seminars.
