Course content
1st day A urban and rural life; B reconnaissance of the terrain; presentation of results 2nd day A reconnaissance of the terrain; B urban and rural life; presentation of results 3rd day A northern and southern slopes; B inquiry of broader area; presentation of results 4th day A inquiry of broader area; B northern and southern slopes; presentation of results 5th day final presentation of results, discussion, assessments

Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Motoric and practical working skills training, Working activities (workshops)
  • Class attendance - 42 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
Students practise geographical methods in field trip, learn to evaluate spatial fenomena in real area. They transform geographical knowledge into gegoraphical education.
Students are able to manage geographical education in field trips
Prerequisites
Successful absolving of subjects physical, human and regional geography; basic knowledge of cartography and GIS

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of student research activity

Students use traditional and modern geographical techniques and methods (mapping) in real areas. They confront gain data with their location in the terrain, and they are able to collect new data from real areas. They use geographical analytical instruments. They transform geographical knowledge into geographical education.
