Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to enhance the student's ability to understand and interpret the sources in English. The student should not only be able to read the historical source correctly, but also to translate and understand it in the historical context. Prerequisite for entry to the course is advanced knowledge of English. The course will not only focus on text sources, but will also focus on audio and visual sources, such as weekly film magazines and short propaganda films. The course will also aim to prepare students for multimedia teaching in schools. Part of the course will also be work with film and subtitle editor.
