The Latin language course is focused on the knowledge of basic grammatical phenomena, knowledge of Latin morphology and the basics of syntax. The course is designed to be manageable even for students who are new to Latin. Students will get acquainted with the principles of working with the Latin-Czech dictionary and on simple Latin texts, mostly artificially compiled, they will learn the basic procedures for their translation. During the course, students will be introduced to examples from the works of ancient authors.
