Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the basic principles of museum pedagogy, andragogy and museum education, to define the role of a museum pedagogue in a museum and to approach the basic principles of creating museum programs. Lectures are devoted to the issue of museum pedagogy and education, connecting the activities of a museum teacher with the FEP and the creation of museum programs for various groups of visitors, including visitors with specific needs, on a theoretical level. Part of the course is a professional excursion focused on practical examples of museum programs in a selected institution in the Liberec region.
Emphasis is placed on understanding and mastery of contemporary museum practice and related professional practice. Students will learn the basic concepts of the field, technical terminology and methodology.

Prerequisites

Compliance with the previous study obligations, link to the history museum, knowledge of Czech and Czechoslovak history.
