Learning outcomes
The course is focused on practical practice of reading Czech and German written and printed texts from the 16th to the 1st half of the 20th century (in the case of Czech written texts until the second half of the 19th century). At the same time, students will be provided with a basic overview of the development of Latin script in the 16th-20th century. stol. documented on specific examples and on topics related to it, including the abbreviation system, the development of numbers and punctuation marks, ways of editing historical text (transcription, transliteration). Students will complete this theoretical knowledge by self-study of the literature presented.
It corresponds to the definition of the subject and to the demands given in syllabus.
