Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to acquaint students with industrial buildings - decisive representatives of industrial heritage. The history of industrial buildings will be introduced in the basic time periods (pre-industrial, industrial) and a basic range of buildings (single-purpose, multi-purpose) in our country. On the examples it will be presented the quality of industrial buildings (architectural, engineering), ways of recording and evaluation. Part of the course is an excursion to the characteristic production facility.

Prerequisites
|
Fulfilment of previous study obligations, knowledge of Czech and Czechoslovak history and the history of culture and art.
