Part of qualification readiness and development of professional adaptability is compulsory practice in relevant institutions of their choice. The practice takes place in both years of the follow-up master's degree in archives, museums, galleries, libraries and other memory institutions, at individual workplaces of the National Heritage Institute and in historical buildings or institutions of state administration under the supervision of relevant experts. The importance of practice lies in deepening the acquired knowledge and skills and their application and verification in a specific work environment and in solving various professional problems, as well as acquainting students with the operation and real functioning of individual institutions.
Students held a few weeks in 2nd practice and 3 year of study in consultation with the Department of History and the host institution.
