Learning outcomes
|
The goal of the lecture is to analyze all important issues of the holocaust, the most important events of the so-called "final sollution" of the Jewish question and contemporary findings and trends of the related research. The lecture is going to be focused on the issue of the post-war retribution. Part of the course is a field trip to the Centrum vizuální historie Malach, Židovské muzeum v Praze.
Students will become familiar with the political history of Europe in the context of Czechoslovakia in 1948-1989.

Compliance with the previous study requirements, and knowledge of European modern Czechoslovak history.
