Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 16 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 16 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the reflection of history nowadays, using concrete and actual examples from the citizen, social, political, cultural and economic life.
Students will be familiarized with the reflection of history in the present, and using concrete examples from actual field of civil, social, political, cultural and economic life.
Prerequisites
Compliance with the previous study requirements, knowledge of Czech and Czechoslovak history.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay

Active attendance on discussions (lessons); fulfilment of homework; passing a test successfully; study of recommended literature.
