Historical thinking and its specific part - scientific knowledge - will be presented as a socio-cultural phenomenon in connection with historiography courses, ie as creating an objective image of the world, including its evaluation and having its aesthetic, ethical and social dimension.
It corresponds to the definition of the subject and to the demands given in syllabus.
Prerequisites
Fulfilment of previous study obligations, see the study program.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Test

Active participation in the discussion at the seminar (exercises); continuous fulfillment of assigned tasks (reading reflection); studied compulsory literature. The condition for granting the credit is the elaboration of the proposal of one's own research plan in the GAČR / GRIS Junior Grant form within the basic items (abstract, CV, bibliography on the topic, project goals, proposal of outputs, material expenditures, etc.). The oral exam in individual or colloquial form will be based on self-evaluation, ie reflection on the pitfalls of creating a project based on individual reading and the skills acquired within the course.
