Course content
|
History as a school subject, a sense of history, understanding the importance of historical events in the contemporary context, the specifics of work history teachers, lesson structure, perception of the history of the young generation, the relationship of the history, basic educational documents, changes in the teaching of history in connection with the FEP and implementation of the SEP. Students learn the history books as the school subject, its purpose, the specifics of work history teachers, lesson structure, history, perception of the young generation, the relationship of the history, basic educational documents and actual changes in teaching history.

Learning outcomes
|
The lectures are intended to provide students with a basic idea of current issues in the current pedagogical practice of teaching history at the 2nd level of elementary school. Students will get acquainted with the formal requirements of practice (pedagogical documentation, structure of the FEP, the creation of SEP and its requirements, evaluation). They will get acquainted with traditional and innovative teaching methods, with educational strategies, with the difficulties of using standard teaching aids (textbooks, maps) and with the possibilities of using multimedia and web resources. They will encounter the problem of the role of the teacher in value teaching and the direction of teaching to competencies. History as a school subject, meaning of history, importance of understanding historical events in the context, specifics of history teacher work, structure of teaching unit, perception of history by young generation, society's relation to history, basic school documents, changes in history teaching in connection with concept of educational frame plan in Czech republic.
It corresponds to the definition of the subject and to the demands given in syllabus.

Prerequisites

Fulfilment of previous study obligations, knowledge of Czech and Czechoslovak history.

Didactic test, Oral presentation of self-study
Active attendance on discussions (lessons); fulfilment of homework; passing a test successfully; study of recommended literature
