Course content
This course provides an overview of basic trends influencing the political, economic and social development of Europe and the world in the period from 1918 to 1945, emphasis will be placed on the comparison between countries and regions, personalities and trends, not neglected or cultural context, while this is the general course of history, will also be discussed history of Czechoslovakia between the wars in the context of contemporary Europe.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 16 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 16 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
This lecture focuses on various aspects of the modern history
Students will learn the basic trends that influence the political, economic and social development of Europe and the world in the period from 1918 to 1945.
Prerequisites
Fulfilment of previous study obligations, knowledge of modern world history.

Student's performance analysis

Active attendance on discussions (lessons); fulfilment of homework; passing a test successfully; study of recommended literature
