Course content
The course is mainly practical. Students will participate in the joint preparation of a series of historical sources on a selected topic. At the same time, they will get acquainted with the basic topics of issues related to the publication of modern sources, ie with individual types of editions, with the heuristics and preparatory editorial activities, with the rules of transcription of historical documents both in Czech and foreign languages. editions (notes, indexes, etc.). Last but not least, it will gain an overview of the most important series or individual editions of documents for Czech, respectively. Czechoslovak history of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the preparation of editions of historical sources from the 19th and 20th centuries of both official and personal and literary nature, both theoretically and above all in practical terms.
It corresponds to the definition of the subject and to the demands given in syllabus.
