Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 31 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 31 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim is to acquaint students with heritage conservation in past and present. Theoretical part will be combined with practical, where students get to know history and preservation of some important buildings from the basic time periods (pre-industrial, industrial). On the examples it will be presented the quality of industrial buildings (architectural, engineering), ways of recording and evaluation.

Prerequisites
Fulfilment of previous study obligations, knowledge of Czech and Czechoslovak history and the history of culture and art.

Student's performance analysis

Active attendance on discussions (lessons); fulfilment of homework (seminar study)
