Course content
Seminars: 1. Assignment of semestral project, division into working teams. 2. The basics of project management. 3. Preparation and verification of the project. 4. Project management. 5. PMBOK standard. 6. Certified ITIL methodology. 7. Team Project Management. 8. Project planning. 9. Project management process. 10. Project scorecards, project metrics. 11. Presentation of typical projects of partner companies in the field of information system development. 12. Presentation of typical projects of partner digital agencies. 13. Procedural principles for the preparation of monthly and semester reports from the internship in the next two semesters. 14. Presentation and defense of semestral work and thesis.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of project management and management of information systems with respect to the requirements of companies where the students will stay during their intership in the following year. The content of the seminars covers the standard process and project procedures, including the ITIL international methodology for managing the company's technology and information infrastructure. The topics of the individual seminars are based on the needs of the internship positions that are most often accepted by the students of the Information Management program. The seminars also include presentations of partner companies, which will familiarize students with the practical aspects of IT project management and the specifics of their internship in the workplace.

Credit requirements: Participation in the exercises according to the teacher's requirement. Preparation of the semestral thesis and its presentation.
