Seminars (themes): 1. Macros in Excel 2. Introduction to VBA and working with the VB Editor environment 3. Standard VBA functions (conditional expressions, mathematical functions, working with text) 4. Working with ActiveCell, Selection, basic formatting 5. With structure and making macro writing more efficient 6. If Else, Do While and Do Until, For cycle 7. Variables and their declarations, data types, Dim vs Static 8. For Each, Select Case structures, loading objects into variables 9. GUI elements, InputBox, MsgBox 10. Controls, ActiveX elements 11. Advanced user forms 12. The aim of the course is to introduce students to macro programming in VBA. Students will gradually learn how to basic as well as more advanced functions and procedures. Upon completion, students will be able to independently solve problems using macros programmed with VBA.
