Course content
|
To provide students with knowledge and skills for education of all parts of arithmetic and algebra at 1st grade - numeral systems, statements, work with word problems, methodical approaches in theme lecturing, work with teaching aids, literature, demonstration, application of aritmetics. Description of mathematical terms, preparation of mathematical games, exercises, competitions. Exercises: 1.-2. The construction of mathematics lessons in small-class schools. Work in departments, changing of work forms. 3.-4. Fractions, terms, work with fractions. Utilization of demonstration in work with fractions. 5.-6. Calculation of part of total (presentation). Calculation of more parts of total. Decimal numbers. 7.-8. Simple word problems with single operation ? methodological approach, task types. 9.-10. Combined word problems ? method. approach (demonstration), more operations. 11.-12. Combined word problems ? practicing, various options of solving. Textbooks, exercises books. 13.-14. Reserve.

To provide students with knowledge and skills for education of all parts of arithmetic and algebra at 1st grade of basic school - number sets, expressions, work with text-based tasks, methodical approaches of matter explanation, work with curricular instruments, literature. Annotation of mathematic terms, preparation of mathematic games and competitions.
Theoretical piece of knowledge and practical acquirements from required area.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Presentation of artistic and creative activities
Presence in seminars. Semestral work - preparation of mathematical warm-up, games and competetions; setting up of mathematical test. Elementary arithmetic 2, 3 and general didactics.
