Course content
Preparation of German language teachers at the elementary school level, with emphasis on linguistics, literature and didactics.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 14 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Project method in foreign language teaching, basics of developing short-time and medium-time projects.
Language competence development in accordance with the curriculum of the accredited field.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's linguistic performance analysis, Didactic test, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

Active participation in seminars, successful completion of assignments, 75% presence in seminars. Other requirements may vary.
