Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to present phonetics and phonology as a basis for foreign language teaching. The subject deals with the problem of "phonetic warm-up", which should ideally serve as a lead-in of every German lesson. Phonetics is also explored as a phenomenon which should form a natural part of German language teaching, for example in relation to reading and listening comprehension, conversational exercises etc. The course builds on the previously acquired knowledge and deepens it didactically.
