The aim of the seminar is to improve and consolidate students' skills and knowledge in the field of German grammar with the emphasis on translation. The seminar is devoted to selected problematic areas of German grammar with regard to the specific requirements and needs of students. The seminar deals with problematic phenomena of contemporary German. In addition to the translation, automated exercises (pattern drill, substitution, exercises) are used for the training of problem phenomena, resulting in the use of it in free oral and / or written expression. Students will be provided with a portfolio of texts containing a selection of basic text types. The portfolio will contain texts for the translation. At the end of the semester, the student will submit both a portfolio of translated texts and one other independently selected and translated text (10 pages).
