Course content


Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Home preparation for classes - 18 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
Literature NJ1 builds on the subjects of Theory of Literature and Literary Seminar. The focus of the seminar is in providing a basic overview from the Baroque period to the Romance. The course also touches on the issues of German written literature in this period in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. Familiarization with individual literary-historical periods will be supplemented by working with selected texts of German written literature, which should also practice and verify students' literary knowledge acquired during the previous semesters.
Language competence development in accordance with the curriculum of the accredited field.
