Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Preparation for credit - 14 hours per semester

  • Home preparation for classes - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The topics of facultative seminars are updated every year, ranging from simple texts or acoustic art (eg. radio plays) to the film. The aim is to supplement and extend the knowledge acquired in compulsory literary seminars. Facultative literary seminars usually do not follow direct chronological line but they deal with selected issues or problematic-historical contexts. This subject should contribute to the deepening of the literary-historical knowledge and practice, broadening literary knowledge acquired during the Bachelor's Studies. The focus of the seminar is in interpretation of literary extracts and literary-scientific analysis of selected works from the previouslymentioned periods.
Language competence development in accordance with the curriculum of the accredited field.

Test

Active participation in seminars, successful completion of assignments, 75% presence in seminars.
