The aim of the course is to apply the existing knowledge of German literature and culture to didactic areas. The course is mainly practically oriented. The literary text is understood as one of the natural possibilities of mastering a foreign language and as one of the possible keys to intercultural knowledge. The seminar explores both the possibilities of receptive usage of literary text as well as productive possibilities. It examines how small literary forms, such as poetry, excerpts, and short prosaic texts, can be used in common language exercises to extend a common textbook framework. In the productive area, the seminar deals with the creation of small literary texts, such as descriptions of found objects, reflections etc.
