The first part of the course deals with the morphology of one part of speech, verbs. The second part focuses on the nominal phrase, focusing on German nouns, adjectives, and articles. Another topic is synsemantic with the focus on prepositions as an interference phenomenon. In addition to the traditional structuralist approach "language as a system", the concept of the subject is based primarily on the knowledge of pragmalingvistics and textual linguistics. The aim of the seminars is to apply the theoretical knowledge on selected texts and to create a smooth transition to the third, syntactic part of the course. A significant time of self-study is expected in the ubject. The final exam consists of two parts, a written test and an oral part. The student can take the oral exam if they have successfully completed the written part.
