Course content
Development of didactics scientific competencies. Development of foreign language competencies (listening, reading, speaking, writing comprehension) and language devices (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation), all in accordance with The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 18 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 14 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The object of German didactics, basic disciplines, aims of foreign language teaching at elementary schools, partial competences, linguistic analysis (interference), methodical procedures , typology of exercises, the significance of the partial competences in present day teaching of German and their realisation in German textbooks
Language competence development in accordance with the curriculum of the accredited field.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's linguistic performance analysis, Didactic test, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio
