Learning outcomes
Those who speak, write, or communicate by any other sign system, act. The aim of this seminar is to observe language in the context of social action processes and also to examine the consequences of social action. The seminar first deals with basic concepts of linguistic pragmatics (eg. expression, linguistic acts, implications, rationality). Subsequently, we will focus on the increasing transformation of pragmatics from theoretical to empirical discipline (the reasons for such transformation are also examined). The following part of the seminar will deal with the relation between communicative function (pragmatics) and language form (grammar).
